    Designed to fit 2.5 in. X 3.5 in. wallet-sized photographs, these cast iron frames trade in the flimsy card stock stand for an integrated foot. Laser cut backs come in wood or steel and trap the glass, photo, and backing with hidden rare earth magnets. Cast iron is a recycleable material.

Vertical Planter

  • Description:

    Cast iron rings are designed to fit a variety of readily available flower pots. Each ring swivels independently allowing the user to change the configuration. The table base is a repurposed lab stand with a cast iron foot and a .5 inch stainless rod. Spacers are made from aluminum tube and can be fabricated at any length.

Iron Wok

  • Description:

    My first cast iron project, the wok was developed through an exploration of off-center lathe turning, Adjacent grooves on the interior and exterior normalize the wall thickness, provide hand holds on the outside, and create terraces on the inside so that food items can be kept out of direct heat if desired.
